Dates and Deadlines

June 1 and July 1 are the deadlines for Reed’s required forms—including advising forms, final transcripts, ID photos, and on-campus housing forms. For all required forms, please review our .

This summer, the Reed Orientation team will send you an email with links to three online pre-Orientation modules, which should be completed before in-person Orientation in August.

New student move-in is on Monday, August 24. You will request housing through the housing portal, which opens on April 15. Please sign up for on-campus housing by June 1.

In-person General Orientation begins on Monday, August 24.
Claim Your Computer Account

Reed uses a single sign-on system that lets you use one username and password to access many online services.

Once you claim your computer account and set up your Reed email, use the same credentials to log in to IRIS. IRIS, Reed’s password-protected portal for community members, provides access to a variety of resources. In IRIS you can:

You will automatically receive a Reed email address once you have an active computer account. We encourage you to to forward your Reed email to an email account that you frequently check.
Vaccination Requirements
All students are required to provide proof of a completed Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) series prior to the start of their first term on campus. .
Incoming students should proof of full vaccinations, as well as other , to the by June 1. Students who wish to request an exemption from the vaccination requirements or have other questions should email the Health & Counseling Center or call 503-777-7281.
Orientation Programming Accommodations
If you have life-threatening food allergies or require accommodations to participate fully in Orientation activities, please fill out the as soon as possible. We require three weeks’ notice, if possible, to ensure accommodations are available.
